WRB Definition:Wide Range Body is an interval that has a body with a price area larger than the bodies of each of the prior three intervals
WRB Hidden GAP Definition:Is a WRB in which the single interval
before the WRB and single interval
after the WRB do
not overlap. Therefore, the interval
before the WRB and the interval
after the WRB did
not share a single tick price.
If after getting a WRB Hidden Gap and prices later completely retraces through the hidden WRB gap area, the WRB Hidden Gap has been filled by the retracing price action.
WRB Hidden GAP Importance:WRB Hidden GAPs identifies areas where an important change in supply/demand has occurred.
If there are no WRB Hidden GAPs present the price action is most likely consolidating and/or in a
low volatility trading range being traded by none important market participants. The lack of WRB Hidden GAPs (unfilled) is telling you to not trade.
To qualify a WRB Hidden GAP as a WRB Zone (not shown on chart), we must review the price action definitions in tutorial chapter 2 involving swing points and strong continuation definitions in their reactions to a key market event. Therefore, although all WRB Hidden GAPs contain key information about market participants...only a few of the WRB Hidden GAPs may qualify as a WRB Zone (key change in supply/demand).
Chart Explaination: WRBs labeled with green arrows and WRB Hidden GAPs labeled with red arrows.
