Recent Past TheStrategyLab chat room excerpt image to the left
@ http://www.thestrategylab.com/images/062620-thestrategylab-wrbtrader-chat-room-review.png Complete text chat logs below##TheStrategyLab primary purpose is for
you to use the free chat room as a
trade journal of
your trades via you posting WRB Analysis of the price action you see on
your monitors, posting price action analysis, ask real-time questions about WRB Analysis or posting your real-time trades (simulator or real money) in a timestamp environment after you've received confirmation from your broker trade execution platform. Simply, the
free chat room is a
trade journal of your trading day (thoughts and trades).
TheStrategyLab free chat room is located on the Libera IRC network along with being a serious professional trading chat room for traders that want to talk about
their use of
WRB Analysis (e.g. Contracting Volatility, WRBs, WRB Hidden GAPs, WRB Zones, WRB/WRB Hidden GAP profit targets, Key Market Events, Reaction Highs/Lows, Expanding Volatility, R area of WRB Zone, S area of WRB Zone, midpoint of WRB Zone and speed of the price action) merged with their trade methods to improve the performance of their trade methods regardless if they're a
position trader, swing trader, day trader, trend trader or range trader.
Therefore, you're welcome to use TheStrategyLab chat room to ask questions about WRB Analysis, post your real-time price action analysis involving WRB Analysis merged with your own trade methods, post real-time trades via WRB Analysis, or talk about general market issues impacting today's price action involving stocks, futures, exchange traded funds or forex currencies as part of your
trade journal. In addition, we welcome all traders (beginners, experience, part-time, full-time) that are merging WRB Analysis with their trade methods or using WRB Analysis to
help develop a better understanding of the price action
(market context) they're trading.
This is
not a signal calling (trade alerts) room. Our free
chat room has
never been advertised as a trade alerts room and we
ban traders for attempting to use our
chat room as a signal calling trade alerts room for the purpose to mimic / copy / piggyback trades posted by any of our members.
With that said, thanks for
reviewing (reading) the below-timestamped trades, price action analysis
or market commentaries and we highly recommend you make reading of the chat room logs (we use it to provide critical missing info for our broker statements) a part of your trading routine because you will sometimes find useful market context information that's critical to understanding
price action trading.
Yet, be aware that many traders (including me) are posting redacted screenshots of timestamp trade fills in broker trade execution platform and quantitative statistical analysis of the trade performance via WRB Analysis in
private thread at the forum. I use the timestamp redacted screenshots to verify if a trader is correctly using WRB Analysis...info I can not get from their broker statements alone.
Remember this too...most users of WRB Analysis do
not use the free chat room but they still are posting their DOKs to verify their understanding of WRB Analysis and posting redacted screenshots of timestamp trade fills (simulator or real money) in broker trade execution platform to verify trade performance in their
private thread.

[10:10:12] <@wrbtrader> chasing - poor entry
[10:12:56] <@wrbtrader> Covered 1/2 Emini ES Short @ 4675.50 --> + 10.5 [10:13:37] <TigerBoy_> ES sell off after break recent contraction area
[10:13:48] <TigerBoy_> VIX now @ 17.90

[10:15:34] <TigerBoy_> I got some loss before trade pick up speed
[10:16:00] <TigerBoy_> infact I was able to re-enter ... a bit later on the support break
[10:16:47] <TigerBoy_> SH mES @ 4688.25 large
[10:16:48] <@wrbtrader> I jump on to the Short late because of the speed in the volatility increasing on the VIX breakout to the upside
[10:16:59] <TigerBoy_> yeo mee too
[10:17:30] <@wrbtrader> Short signal was @ 4688.00
[10:17:30] <TigerBoy_> entry around 10:09am
[10:17:45] <@wrbtrader> Yep
[10:18:11] <@wrbtrader> I got caught changing my TV channel from CNBC to Bloomberg
[10:18:18] <@wrbtrader>
[10:19:18] <TigerBoy_> multiple exit for me
[10:19:30] <@wrbtrader> It's happened enough times like that...I think its time for me to get another flat screen TV monitor...one for CNBC and the other for Bloomberg as wall mounts in my office
[10:19:32] <TigerBoy_> exit all @ 4679.75 +9[10:21:14] <TigerBoy_> SH mES 4671.75
[10:21:21] <TigerBoy_> another break
[10:21:26] <TigerBoy_> large size
[10:22:17] <TigerBoy_> exit all mES @ 4669.75 +2[10:22:50] <TigerBoy_> same here multiple scale out best one was @ 4669
[10:23:35] <TigerBoy_> simply I scale out to get some ticks profit right after the trade
[10:23:50] <TigerBoy_> then I let the trade go
[10:24:04] <TigerBoy_> I do that to fight that nasty volatility
[10:26:20] <@wrbtrader> Tigerboy...I use to trade like that many many years ago when I did large size positions...
[10:27:16] <@wrbtrader> I would take a small profit on a few contracts to pay for the entire trade (commissions) and then trade the rest of the remainder position as normal
[10:28:10] <@wrbtrader> Thus, I didn't use WRB pt1 for those first few contracts to exit the trade
[10:29:01] <@wrbtrader> Essentially, I was calculating the cost of the trade as a profit target for the first few contracts instead of a WRB pt1
[10:29:08] <TigerBoy_> yep I do that, also to try get few ticks in case price move away from plan direction
[10:30:56] <TigerBoy_> SH 4671.75
[10:31:25] <TigerBoy_> exit all @ 4674 -2.25
[10:32:08] <@wrbtrader> VIX @ 17.83
[10:37:18] <TigerBoy_> wrbtrader... why you don't trade now scaling out as before
[10:38:34] <TigerBoy_> too much stressfull or your stat show that not merits and it is better wait for a regular wrb pt1 with all contracts
[10:39:21] <TigerBoy_> maybe now you also use less contracts
[10:39:44] <TigerBoy_> Infcat I use scale out now because using mES
[10:40:35] <TigerBoy_> many contracts while using absolute low money value
[10:41:07] <@wrbtrader> Long Emini ES @ 4681.00 -> small size
[10:41:12] <TigerBoy_> I ll keep using mES until I ll regain my trust after many months stop
[10:41:16] <@wrbtrader> 3 contracts
[10:41:57] <@wrbtrader> Exited all Emini ES Long @ 4680.00 --> - 1
[10:42:02] <@wrbtrader> punks
[10:43:31] <@wrbtrader> Shorts Emini ES @ 4678.50 -> small size
[10:43:37] <@wrbtrader> 3 contracts
[10:44:48] <@wrbtrader> Covered all Emini ES Short @ 4675.50 --> + 3 [10:45:20] <@wrbtrader> small WRB pt1 reached
[10:45:45] <TigerBoy_> SH mES @ 4677.50 medium
[10:46:09] <TigerBoy_> exit all @ 4677.50 +1
[10:47:08] <TigerBoy_> miss a good entry @ 4679
[10:48:07] <TigerBoy_> signal was there simply price moved fast so I was able to enter @ 4677.50 after also some unfill pz
[11:28:34] <@wrbtrader> Shorts Emini ES @ 4685.00 -> small size
[11:28:37] <@wrbtrader> 2 contracts

[11:30:14] <@wrbtrader> Houdini Escape
[11:30:43] <@wrbtrader> Will just sit awhile and wait for the breakout ABOVE or BELOW the contracting volatility price area
[11:32:50] <@wrbtrader> Long Emini ES @ 4687.25 -> small size
[11:33:00] <@wrbtrader> 2 contracts

[11:44:25] <TigerBoy_> NQ recuped sell off ... now did new high
[11:45:17] <TigerBoy_> not only for today a fresh new all time high wow

[12:24:25] <@wrbtrader> Short Squeeze now
[12:24:42] <@wrbtrader> Long Emini ES @ 4701.75 -> small size
[12:24:50] <@wrbtrader> 1 contract
[12:25:16] <@wrbtrader> I almost Shorted until I saw it was trying to Short Squeeze
[12:26:12] <@wrbtrader> Exited Emini ES Long @ 4703.75 --> + 2 [12:26:24] <@wrbtrader> small WRB pt1 reached
[12:27:07] <@wrbtrader> I rarely get greedy on a Short Sqeeze trade...take the WRB pt1.

##TheStrategyLab (located on the Freenode IRC network) is
free and is a serious professional trading
chat room involving
WRB Analysis in which any trader
(position trading, swing trading, day trading) can use the chat room to post their trades or commentaries about stocks, futures, exchange traded funds or forex currencies. Simply, you don't need to be a client of TheStrategyLab.com to use the free chat room nor do you need to be a
price action trader (no indicators) because some members use indicators while others do not. Yet, the only requirement is that you want to learn
WRB Analysis.
Therefore, we welcome
all traders that want to learn about
WRB Analysis regardless if they are beginners or experience traders in
price action trading.
The purpose of ##TheStrategyLab is that it's designed to be a
trade journal for documentation purposes only so that members can have a time stamp archive of trades and market commentaries of each trading day so that they can better understand their broker statements from one trade to the next trade when they review their performance numbers on any given trading day.
Quote:
The free chat room is not a signal calling trade alert room with a head trader telling you what to trade, when to buy or when to sell. In fact, we do not believe in the business model of a head trader telling other traders when to buy and sell. It's a flawed approach to trading and it's a flawed substitution for mentoring in which a trader can not learn how to be a successful independent trader.
Further, members are not obligated to educate nor help other members but members are encouraged to ask questions about any trades or market commentaries that are posted by others because sometimes the answers contain useful trading tips.
In addition, our primary job in the
free chat room is to moderate the room (keep the peace) because with so many members using different trade signal methods along with different opinions about the market...debates or arguments can easily flare up without moderating. In addition, our presence in the chat room is to ensure it's a
spam-free chat room during trading although these archived chat logs may contain advertisements for guest visitors.

price action trading chat room and we expect members to act
professional. Also, these logs may have been edited (rarely) to remove any messages that a member has complained to me via private message that they consider a particular commentary to be inappropriate, racist, harassment, lies, hackers, pikers, trolls that's a distraction to members of our chat room, our forum or our website. Yet, the original logs are always maintained for security reasons and legal reasons if needed.
