Key Market Day
Key Market Day does
not imply that the particular trading instrument discussed below
will continue in the direction of the pattern signal.
It implies that the
pattern signal occurred on a trading day that had impact into the
direction of the pattern signal via either a key economic report,
key regular schedule market event, key geopolitical event, market
seasonal tendency (cycle) or the price action of another key market.
-----------------
This pattern signal that a
client took was actually a contingency plan signal from the trading
report after a failed prior Long signal.
Therefore, this is an
excellent example of why trade management after entry is so critical
to the success of a profitable trader because too many newbie
traders spend far too much time on tweaking their entry signal
instead of developing a trading plan for the price action after
entry.
With that said, the
confirmation signal shown on the below chart confirms the downtrend
will continue lower especially since the confirmation signal is also
a volatility spike to signal a change in supply/demand.
A change in supply/demand
doesn't just imply that supply is changing to demand or that demand
is changing to supply.
It also implies that the
momentum and large prints is putting pressure on a particular side
of the market to clear the way for a trend continuation price
action.
Also, any one
trading the EuroFX futures must learn that most successful traders
are also following the U.S. Dollar Index (not futures) chart for
pattern signals into the EuroFX or Forex EurUsd.
Just the same, if you want
to prevent missing profitable opportunities as a trader of Forex
EurUsd, you should be following the CME EuroFX futures and the U.S.
Dollar Index.
